Names That Switched From Boys to Girls
Every name here was given mostly to boys before 1970 and mostly to girls since 1995. The switch almost always runs this way: once a name catches on for girls, parents of boys tend to move on. Among names with a page, only 3 went as clearly the other way (Jean, Jan and Karon).
The result is a split by age. The men named Taylor are mostly older; the women are mostly younger. Each name's page shows both.
